Sponsor fact sheet

Mt. St. Mary’s has an enrollment of 126 students from pre-K to 8th grade. In addition to the
standard curriculum we are proud to offer our children Spanish, Music, PE, Art and Computer
classes. In addition to our academic curriculum; each student has school wide learning
expectations of modeling Catholic values to encourage them to respect others and life!
As the oldest, continuously operating school West of the Mississippi, we are proud to celebrate
150 years of service and would be honored with your presence and support. Our celebration will
begin with a 5K run on the morning of Saturday, May 1st. The fun will continue with a day of living
history, open house at the school, vendors and events at the school and will end with a dance
that evening. The following day, Sunday, May 2nd, we will have a special Mass dedicated to our
celebration, followed by a pancake breakfast.

Sponsorship levels

Friend of MSM - $40 – placement in the 150th book to show your support!
BRONZE - $100 – placement on program (remember this does not have to be a business but can
be a family, friend of MSM…etc.) ****It is our hope that those of you that are able will
sponsor at this level to show your support! ****
SILVER - $500 – placement in the 150th book, placement in the parish bulletin, placement on
Posters, placement on 5k t-shirts
GOLD - $1000 – placement in the 150th book, placement in the parish bulletin, placement on
Posters, placement on 5k t-shirts, Radio air play on KNCI and Immaculate Heart Radio, Banner
signage in Grass Valley
PLATINUM - $5000 – prominent placement in the 150th program, placement on Posters,
placement in the parish bulletin, prominent placement on 5k t-shirts, Radio air play on KNCI and
Immaculate Heart Radio, Banner signage in Grass Valley, Vendor Booth, and an add in the
Catholic Herald

Vendor Registration and Liability Release

As the oldest, continuously operating Catholic school west of the Mississippi, we are proud to celebrate 150 years of service and would be honored with your presence and support.  Our celebration will begin with a 5K run on the morning of Saturday, May 1st.  The fun will continue with a day of living history, open house, live music, vendors and events at the school and will end with a dance that evening at St. Patrick’s Hall.

Where:  Mt. St. Mary School, 400 South Church Street, Grass Valley, CA 95945

Hours: 11:00AM-5:00PM Main Event, 8:30-11:00AM 5K Run    Space Size: 10x10     Cost: $65.00                                          

Set-up: At the school playground, Saturday May 1. Vehicle access limited to 6:00-7:30AM. No vehicles allowed on the playground after 7:30AM due to the 5K Run. Spaces will be assigned. Tear Down: Saturday May 1 (5:00-6:00 PM).

Participant Responsibilities: Handle own sales. Provide adequate staffing of your booth. Collect and remit own sales tax. All food and snack vendors must have a drip pan or protective flooring covering under their carts, vehicles or anything containing grease or oil. Heat generating appliances require at least 10 feet of clearance around the booth.

*It would be our hope that each vendor donate a percentage of their proceeds to Mt. St. Mary’s.

Space is limited. All vendors must have approval from event coordinator 530-273-4694.  Upon approval, payment is due with registration form by April 1. Vendors accepted on first paid basis.

St. Mary’s 150th Event.  I expressly release Mt. St. Mary’s Academy, and its volunteers from any liability for such loss, injury, or accident, and agree to provide and pay for my own insurance. I also realize the Mt. St. Mary’s Academy and its volunteers are not responsible for accidents, injuries, or thefts.
