Mount St. Mary’s Academy Announces Availability of Transitional Kindergarten Program

Mount Saint Mary’s Academy is very pleased to announce that it will open its Transitional Kindergarten Program commencing Monday October 3, 2005 and that applications and registrations are currently being accepted.
“We are very pleased to announce the availability of our Transitional Kindergarten Program as of Monday October 3, 2005 for all children who are 4 years old, with classes being held from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Monday through Friday,” said Sister Ann Marie Miller, Principal of Mount Saint Mary’s Academy. “We are also pleased to announce that Mrs. Danielle de Santo is joining our staff as of this date and will be responsible for managing our Transitional Kindergarten Program.”
About Mount St. Mary’s Academy
Mount Saint Mary’s Academy was founded in 1859 and is the oldest continuously operating Catholic grade school west of the Mississippi. It is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. The school is located in the picturesque historic gold mining town of Grass Valley, in the Sierra Foothills of Northern California.
The school provides for the education of the whole child within the Catholic Christian tradition, which promotes spiritual, intellectual, emotional, social and physical growth. Mount Saint Mary’s has a full day Kindergarten with additional grades 1st through 8th and also has a Transitional Kindergarten program available for younger children who are at least four years old. Applications are currently being accepted for all grades and space is available for most classes.
